The erotice castration captioncreator of The Simpsonmade his views on President Donald Trump clear this weekend when he led a crowd to chant "Lock him up!"
Matt Groening initiated a "Lock him up" chant aimed at Trump during a panel at Comic-Con Saturday, The Huffington Post reported, corralling hundreds of people to call for the arrest of the U.S. president. The chant was undoubtedly a reference to "Lock her up" chants from conservatives aimed at Hillary Clinton during Trump's 2016 election campaign.

The Simpsonshas never been afraid to poke fun at its network or the current president, but it has generally steered clear of these more contentious insults. It appears that the show isn't going to back down, though.
Matt Selman, executive producer of The Simpsons, was also at the Comic-Con panel and said the show would stick to its guns in terms of humor.
Maybe we'll see the colorful characters of Springfield chant "Lock him up" in unison during some episode in the future.
