Not only did the company expose the personal information of 143 million people,Bengali Archives including names, Social Security numbers, addresses, birth dates, and even some driver's license numbers. It also turns out that three of its executives sold $1.8 million worth of company stock right after the breach was discovered.

But, it's not like Equifax was forced to pay millions earlier this year on charges that it advertised free or $1 credit services that actually cost more than $200 a year.
