Late Saturday evening, Kanye West officially joined Instagram. At the time of writing, West amassed a cool 329,000 followers overnight with a single post, yet he hasn't followed a single person, not even his wife, Kim Kardashian-West.

While West is known for his sometimes ridiculous and possibly artistic tweets, this is his first time using the photo app. In 2013 he shot down any rumors that he may have an Instagram account.

Oddly enough, Yeezy tweeted on Thursday that he got rid of his phone because it was clogging up his creative process, so hopefully Instagram will prove to be a satisfying creative outlet.
