Sarah Jessica Parker has officially endorsed Cynthia Nixon Thursday as she embarks on her journey to become the next New York governor.

It's a far cry from the vague statement Parker gave Page Sixwhen Nixon first announced her run.
“Cynthia has been my friend and colleague since we were little girls,” Parker said, through a spokesperson. “I look forward to talking to her about her New York state gubernatorial bid.”
Thankfully for Nixon, this is not the first endorsement from a former cast mate—but it's better than co-star Kim Cattrall's comments. Cattrall, who has been at odds with Parker for years, offered her "support and respect" via Twitter to Nixon following the announcement of her candidacy.

Fingers crossed for any kind of reunion at one of Nixon's events during her candidacy.
