NBA social team,Punjabi Archives what are you doing?
Someone behind the NBA's official Twitter account made a grave error Sunday night when he or she referred to Dave Chappelle simply as a "fan" of fellow comedian Amy Schumer.

Chapelle and Schumer sat court side at Sunday night's game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics. The NBA's subsequent tweet features a GIF of the pair hanging out, with the caption: "Amy and a fan on @NBAonTNT. #NBAGIF".
As Uproxxpoints out, the tweet was likely a joke -- referring to the obviously famous as "fans" is a common tongue-in-cheek Twitter practice.
Still, many rightfully considered it an inexcusable offense. Take a seat, NBA.
