Brace yourselves for an overload of the adorable.
Anyone who's seen Heartstopper,Watch Wet Woman in the Wind (2016) the Netflix series based on Alice Oseman's queer teen romance about two school friends developing feelings for each other, will know that the show is, as Mashable's Shannon Connellan put it in her review, "so loaded up on subtle moments of friendship and romance that your ticker will likely stop functioning at points."
But it turns out the behind-the-scenes moments are just as heart-bursting. Here are some photos of the cast, taken by themselves during a key scene from the show, that Oseman shared recently on Twitter:

I heard some of you wanted to see these… All taken by Kit and Joe themselves! This was also the day we announced Kit and Joe were cast. One of my favourite days of the shoot 💖 #Heartstopper pic.twitter.com/DfO6cQLgm4

The scene in question, which appears in HearstopperVolume 1 as well as the series itself, sees Nick (Kit Conner) and Charlie (Joe Locke) going out into the snow to make snow angels and have a snowball fight. They're not together at this point but there are definitely some big crush vibes.
You can watch the scene in question here, which also features a very good dog:
In the show, Nick looks at photos taken during the day in a later scene, one of which is the first image shared by Oseman in the tweet above.
The fans clearly cannot get enough of Charlie and Nick — at the time of writing, Oseman's first tweet has around 18,000 retweets.
HearstopperSeason One is streaming now on Netflix.
