It's probably not an awesome idea to use a T-shirt gun if you're not absolutely sure which end the tees are Switzerland adultmeant to come out. Alas, this was the grievous mistake that led to a mascot injury last week.
The University of Colorado's mascot Chip the Buffalo was carted off the field during a football game against the University of New Hampshire last week after shooting a T-shirt gun in the wrong direction, according to Buzzfeed.

Chip — well, technically the person behind the Chip costume — was then carted off the field to seek medical attention.

Despite the mascot's absence on the field, Colorado still beat New Hampshire, 45 to 14.
After the incident, Chip shared a photo on Twitter to let everyone know that he's doing okay and appreciates the support.

We hope that at the very least, Chip got to keep the shirt.
