Its watchlist feature allows you to seamlessly organize all the movies you want to see in one place — and discuss them with your friends.

Launched in 2011 and available on iOS, Android, and desktop, Letterboxd has been steadily gaining popularity. Adding a movie to your watchlist, however, is a different process from logging a movie, which is how you note what films you've seen on what date. (That's accomplished by selecting the green "Log" rectangle in the upper right hand corner on desktop and tapping the green plus sign on the bottom of your screen in the app.)

How to add a movie to your watchlist on desktop:

1. Open Letterboxd

2. Search the title you want to add to your watchlist using the search bar in the upper right hand corner
