SINGAPORE -- Get your Instagram accounts ready,Watch Dark Fantasies (2010) because a new cafe dedicated to Gudetama the lazy egg is the height of photogenic adorableness.
Gudetama is a creation of Japan's cartoon mega power, Sanrio, which also created Hello Kitty.

Original image has been replaced. Credit: Mashable Unlike most cartoon characters that are usually all about unbridled joy and positivity, Gudetama's name comes from the Japanese word for "no energy" -- "gude". "Tama" comes from "tamago", Japanese for egg.
People find the little guy's laidback spirit really relatable.

Drawings of Gudetama typically show him in a variety of lackadaisical poses: asleep on his egg white bed with with a bacon blanket pulled over him; draped over a bowl of rice exuding an air of indifference; or lounging in a cracked half of his shell -- as one does -- on a deckchair.
"I love Gudetama because I can totally relate to feeling apathetic, unmotivated, lazy, pessimistic, and irritable," says self-confessed diehard fan Delphine Tan, 36.
The Singaporean teacher is an avid collector of Gudetama paraphernalia and showcases her collection on Instagram:

At the new Singapore cafe, the menu consists of 10 main courses, four side dishes, five desserts, two kids' meals and a range of specialty drinks.

Expect to shell out an average of S$35 ($24) per person if you each order a main, a drink, and a dessert.
The Gudetama cafe is located on the ground floor of the Suntec City mall.
