Overwatch's first new piece of content in its second year may be Japan Movies | Adult Movies Onlinerelated to the Horizon Lunar Colony — a scientific colony on the moon where Winston and other genetically enhanced gorillas were sent before Overwatch's present-day.
Blizzard teased some new info around the Horizon Lunar Colony in a tweet and a blog post Monday night, giving a glimpse at the colony's layout, the state of its angry gorilla inhabitants, and a mysteriously missing gorilla named Hammond.

The blog post is a fictional news article from the Overwatchuniverse's leading global news outlet, Atlas News, which had previously teased the reveal of the game's latest hero, Orisa.
The latest article from Atlas Newssheds light on the Horizon Lunar Colony, which went offline years ago:
For the first time in years after Horizon Lunar Colony went offline, new information has been revealed as to the fate of the program.
At a press conference today, Lucheng Insterstellar revealed the surprising fact that the colony's databases and monitoring systems are still up and running this day. While no direct communication has been established with the facility, the company has successfully retrieved interpersonnel logs sent days and moments before the base lost contact with earth. Below are some of the transmissions Lucheng shared.
A series of emails sent from scientists on the colony reveal that its genetically enhanced gorilla population is angry, the scientists are trying to figure out a solution to containing them, and a gorilla named Hammond is missing.
The Overwatchhero Winston (named after Dr. Harold Winston who is included in the retrieved emails) used to be an inhabitant on the Horizon Lunar Colony, and as far as we know, he was the smartest gorilla to come out of the genetic testing. When his gorilla brethren led an uprising to take the colony, Winston escaped to Earth with a makeshift rocket.
The gorilla Hammond may have similarly escaped the colony and may be a new hero on the Overwatchroster.
It's likely that the next update will bring a new hero rather than a new map
In a recent live stream, Overwatchgame director Jeff Kaplan mentioned that the game has a new hero "on the horizon," which could be direct (and cheeky) reference to the Horizon Lunar Colony.
Given that Overwatchjust released three new arena maps as part of its anniversary celebration last week, it's likely that the next update will bring a new hero rather than a new map. But we can't rule out the possibility that we'll get a new hero anda lunar colony map in a coming update.
At this point we don't know anything about Hammond except he's probably less intelligent than Winston and possibly a little angrier. He likely harbors some hatred toward humans given his upbringing as a test subject.
Just because Hammond is specifically teased doesn't mean he'll be a new hero, though.
There's also a possibility that this tease could be for a an event similar to the Uprising mission. Players may be teaming up to push through the Horizon Lunar Colony, either on the side of the gorillas or the scientists.
As more information and teases come out, we'll be on top of them to give you our analysis.
