Friends,Show up Yukari Taguchi there are times when you stumble upon a tip so good that you must immediately share it with all in your vicinity.
That tip -- courtesy of Twitter user @censoreddialogue -- goes as follows: The iPhone calculator app has a backspace function. Rather than restarting a calculation after pressing a wrong number, swiping over an unwanted digit removes it.
SEE ALSO: Don't hold your breath for a new iPhone 8 this yearThis Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Now maybe you, smug reader, already knew this. A quick Google search pulls up a Lifehacker post about the function -- based off a Quorapost -- from 2014.
But judging from the more than 7,000 retweets on this video -- and the subsequent viral account pickups -- it feels safe to assume that many of us were in the dark.
Now that we've seen the light, gone are the days when one wrong move sends us rage spiraling over Apple's perceived user experience oversight. Go on, offer to tabulate that lengthy restaurant bill. You've got this.
