The first-look trailer also teased a new Mario Kart game, its first since 2017 (or 2014, if you don't count Mario Kart 8's Deluxere-release).
Thursday's leak coincided with an unrelated Direct during which Nintendo announced more than a dozen upcoming Switch games, a new mobile app, and a new "Virtual Game Cards" feature that lets Switch owners share games.
