Quarterback Cam Newton's touchdown dance became a national sensation in 2015, the year he won the MVP award.
But after everyone -- including Hillary Clinton on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show-- began dabbing, Newtown officially retired the dance.

Here is another look at the dance, which came after Newton's first rushing touchdown of the year against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night -- giving him 44 over his career, the most of any quarterback in NFL history.
