Come to my window,Korea Archives Melissa Etheridge, but please don't look in.
Singer-songwriter and '90s icon Melissa Etheridge made headlines after she made allegations about the actress while on Andy Cohen Liveearlier this week. Etheridge initially claimed that the actress did "not nice things" with actor Billy Bob Thornton while she was married to Pitt, before sort-of-recanting her allegations.
SEE ALSO: Explaining to your children that Brad and Angelina are getting a divorceOn Watch What Happens Live last night, Etheridge admitted that she received a call from Jolie's manger, the legendary Judy King, shortly after she made the comments. Etheridge then revealed that she, um, hadn't seen Brad since he had gotten together with Angelina:
"They gave me a call, and I understand, because sometimes we say things . . . I haven't seen Brad in forever, and certainly haven't seen him since he was with Angelina."
Etheridge is friends with Laura Dern, who was engaged to be married to Billy Bob Thornton at the time of these "not nice things." But instead of fully recanting her statement or issuing a public apology, Etheridge decided to write a little ditty that would better explain her feelings on the matter:
"Seems I said some things about an old, old, old friend that got some people talking / Well, I know broken hearts, a thing or two about divorce / I've been there before once, okay, twice / And I have not seen my friend in over 10 years / And I swear I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever met his wife," Etheridge sang.
