Both he and the singer were in Australia this week, a serendipitous sign from the universe that a meeting was destined to be.

Adele is currently touring in Australia, performing shows across the continent for the first time in her career.

As for why Elmo was in Australia beyond a few press meetings, that's private Muppet business. Seems like he had a good time, though.
