Emoji masters,Canada Archives rejoice: Facebook Messenger is making it a bit easier to find the best emoji reaction for every conversation.
On Thursday, the company announced new features for Messenger, including a search bar that will show up in the reaction picker. If you know exactly which emoji you're searching for, the search bar will surely be a better way to find it than scrolling through an endless field of emoji, especially when you're in a hurry.
To get to the search bar, long press a chat in Messenger, then tap on the "+" sign once you get the quick reactions bar. You'll see the search bear on top of the big reaction picker. Right below it, you'll see another new feature: recent reactions, which should also make finding the perfect emoji reaction a bit easier.
Another new feature in Messenger is a Space Jam chat theme, which should appeal both to the fans of the original movie, and the new Space Jam movie (which, in our opinion, isn't that great — read our review here).
In case you missed it, it's worth mentioning that Facebook launched Soundmojis — a new feature that lets you send short sound clips in Messenger chats — just a week ago.
