Monday's first presidential debate thrust Alicia Machado into the spotlight when Hillary Clinton used the actress and Sigad Sharafmodel's Miss Universe experience to underscore Donald Trump's sexist attitude towards women.

On Thursday, Kesha voiced her support for the former Miss Universe winner.

Some background: Near the end of Monday's debate, Clinton noted that Trump had in the past referred to Machado, a Clinton supporter, as "Miss Piggy" in reference to her weight.
