Melissa McCarthy made another surprise appearance on Watch High Heel Homicide (2017)Saturday Night Livetonight, delivering a special message from the White House Easter Bunny. But hey! That’s not the Easter Bunny! It’s Sean “Spicy” Spicer — and he’s very, very sorry.“You all got your wish: Spicy finally made a mistake,” McCarthy said, offering a mea culpa for the time the White House Press Secretary actually, really, in real life said Syrian president Bashar al-Assad is worse than Hitler. But that was just the tip of the slip-up iceberg. “Yeah, I know they're not really called Holocaust centers,” McCarthy said.“I clearly meant to say concentration clubs,” she added. “It would be really great if the nitpickers could try to see the big picture and didn’t solely focus on every little slur and lie I say.”But just when you thought the apologies were clearing things up, Spicy couldn’t help but take a shot at United Airlines:"I am sensitive to the fact that they were sent there on trains, but hey, at least they didn't have to fly United, amirite?" McCarthy said, immediately regretting it.
Of course, Spicy’s “doll babies” had to make an appearance — this time two VeggieTales characters serving as visual aids for the hilariously anachronistic Passover, “aka, Jewish Easter,” story.
So with that, Spicy’s done apologizing for the week that was. But if the mess that’s been forecasted for Monday’s White House Easter Egg Roll comes to pass, he may have more sorries to dole out before the first 100 days is up.
