Sarah Palin thought she was going to be eroticism shamein a "legit Showtime historical documentary." Turns out, it was just a prank by trickster Sacha Baron Cohen.
For his anticipated new seven-episode series Who Is America?Cohen has apparently been filming interviews with U.S. politicians for a year — but often in disguise or undercover.

The interview was apparently requested through a "speakers bureau."
In a particularly angry Facebook post, Palin vented her rage against the comedian, saying she had "join[ed] a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick 'humor' of the British 'comedian.'"
Palin says she was led to believe she would be having a "thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform," but after putting up with "a long 'interview' full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm," she took off her mic and left.
"The disrespect of our US military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse," wrote Palin afterwards. She also threw down some fightin' words.
"Here is my challenge, shallow Sacha boy: go ahead - air the footage. Experience tells us it will be heavily edited, not pretty, and intended to humiliate."
"Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country. Truly sick."
Palin then challenged Cohen, along with producers at CBS and Showtime to donate the show's profits to a charity supporting American veterans. Palin also accused the production team of "purposefully" dropping herself and her daughter off at the wrong airport, and causing them to miss their flights back to Alaska from D.C.
Finally, Palin brought out the big guns.
"Feel good and manly about your M.O., Sacha?
"By the way, my daughter thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha. Every honorable American Vet should feel the same."
Palin's not the only one on the Baron Cohen chopping block — he teased a video on Twitter of former Vice President Dick Cheney autographing what he calls a “waterboard kit.”

Cohen is unlikely to respond. Instead,Who Is America?is set to premiere on July 15 on Showtime in the U.S. and on Stan in Australia. Hold onto your hats.
