Demi Lovato will never shy away from the chance to make a statement.
During her Billboard Music Awards performance of "Cool For the Summer,Ask Me What You Want (2024)" she wore a shirt (featuring a composite of the traditional men's and women' restroom symbols) that seems to send a rhinestoned message in favor of gender neutral restrooms.

Bigotry is not cool in any season, summer or otherwise.
Immediately after performing, she and Nick Jonas hopped offstage to support her ex, DNCE's Joe Jonas while her sang the hit single, "Cake By the Ocean."
