Sadly, the cover doesn't feature any actual turtles, which means this is me right now.
To quote Michael Scott, now I'm gonna have to go online and look at turtles or else I'm gonna be off the whole day. Sorry, boss.
Okay, now that we've set things right, there is an actual explanation for the title. As GMAreported, "turtles all the way down" is "a philosophical joke that says the world is flat and we're all just on a giant turtle."
The plot of the novel involves a 16-year-old girl named Aza and her "most fearless friend, Daisy" as set out to track down a fugitive billionaire. Green has said it will be his "first attempt to write directly about the kind of mental illness that has affected my life since childhood," making it extra personal for him.
Green's book hits shelves in October.
