Kardashian asked Trump to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old great-grandmother serving life in prison for a first-time drug offence.
In an interview with Mic, Kardashian said that Trump had listened to the case she made for Johnson.
"I think that he really spent the time to listen to our case that we're making for Alice," she said. "He really understood, and I am very hopeful that this will turn out really positively I hope."
Kardashian was joined by her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley. They both told POTUS about Johnson's case and the reasons they feel so strongly about it.
"I feel like I went in, me and Shawn to really talk to the president about Alice Johnson and really explain to him why she would be such a good person to grant clemency to," she explained.

Kardashian also discussed the reasons she believes Johnson should be pardoned by Trump.
"I just feel really strongly that she has such a good support system," she continued. "She has a job waiting for her, she has a home to go to, and she has such a great, supportive family. Even seeing the work that she's done while she's in prison, knowing that she would never get out. She hasn't had one disciplinary infraction since she's been in prison in 21 and a half years."
Kardashian added that she believes Johnson is someone who has "completely rehabilitated herself" and would, in her opinion, continue to do so outside of prison.
"If it takes me to go and talk to the highest person in power, the only person that can make this happen, which is President Trump, then I will definitely do that," she said.
